What you should know before submitting your release

• What's the Russian angle? Like media anywhere, Russia's journalists are overwhelmingly focused on how the news affects their audiences. Don't assume that, just because Russia is listed among 18 countries, there will be interest. Try to get the Russian element into the lead and headline.
  
  
• Is this the final authorized version of your release? If not, and especially if there are likely to be changes, tell us.
  
  
• Would you like us to brief reporters? Normally, we will follow up with key journalists with fairly generic offers of assistance in reaching you. But if there are points you would particularly like us to stress, on background, by all means email us your "talking points" separately.
  
  
• Do you have a press spokesperson ready and available at odd hours? We will try our best to connect enquiring reporters with your spokesperson, with interpreting supplied at no extra charge. So, while language shouldn't be an obstacle, the time zones can be. Remember that Moscow is 3 hours ahead of London, 8 hours ahead of New York, and 6 hours behind Melbourne.
  
  
• How do you plan to pay? There are several options, including secure payment by credit/debit card, e-check (in some countries) or bank transfer. Depending on where you are, how you pay can have an impact on how quickly we can commit to distribution.
