- We have our own translators. Can we use your system for distribution anyway?
Of course. We’ll still submit your release for professional Russian-language editing and we may make some style recommendations, but at no extra charge.
- Are releases distributed in raw text only?
If you like, we can also circulate a fully formatted PDF with your logo and other graphics. Just email us your standard release template and the necessary image files, and we will replicate them for a file attachment. And stay tuned, because we’ll also be offering other upgrades and refinements, including video attachments, in future.
- When we do a multi-market release, our primary release distributor circulates the release in Russia. Why do we need Russia Newswire?
Because none of the national wire services operating in Russia and offering OTS (original text service) distribution can claim universal coverage. Let’s say you have an account with MegaWorldPressWire, for distribution of your releases to all the markets where you operate. MegaWorld
will have an agreement with a domestic news agency for
local distribution. So, out goes your release – but
where? Certainly not everywhere, and very possibly not
where you would prefer. We use email and fax to make
sure your release gets to specific individuals within
all news organizations – individuals we know to have
responsibility for and interest in incoming material.

- Why do you charge extra for translation?
Some release distributors bundle distribution and translation and charge more. Some of our clients don’t need translation services. So we decided to charge a fair price for each service.
